About College & Career Fair
The College & Career Fair is an annual event sponsored in collaboration by the Torrance Unified School District, Torrance Council of PTAs, and the PTAs at North, South, Torrance, and West High Schools. The purpose of the College & Career Fair is to assist students as they navigate through the various steps towards their higher education and career goals. This event provides students and parents the opportunity to speak to representatives from a variety of schools, including community colleges, vocational programs, state colleges and universities, private schools, and international universities, as well as support services.
The College & Career Fair also provides workshops that cover a wide range of topics including college admission processes, college entrance exam preparation, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and alternative short-term training for rewarding careers. TUSD counselors and college-career counseling coordinators will also be available to answer questions. All students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this event. It is never too early to begin thinking about college and explore what options will help students reach their future educational goals.
The College & Career Fair is free and open to the public for students of all ages and their families.
